H.E. Dr. Dian Triansyah Djani brings to PublicPolicyAsia Advisors (PPAA) more than three decades of senior leadership in government affairs, international diplomacy, and ASEAN cooperation. As Indonesia’s G20 Co-Sherpa and Special Senior Advisor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, he has shaped global policy coordination and guided complex negotiations on economic governance, trade, and regional security—expertise that strengthens PPAA’s services in policy advocacy, market access, and regional strategy.
Dr. Djani previously served as Indonesia’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in both New York and Geneva, where he chaired UN committees, led multilateral trade discussions, and represented Indonesia on issues ranging from human rights to sustainable development. His role as Director General for ASEAN Cooperation saw him directly involved in drafting the ASEAN Charter and steering regional economic integration—experience that underpins PPAA’s specialised ASEAN advisory work.
Alongside his government career, Dr. Djani also serves as Chairman of the Board of Bank Mandiri Europe Limited and Advisor to ALAMI Group, offering insights at the intersection of finance, fintech, and regulatory environments. His leadership ensures PPAA clients benefit from deep, insider knowledge of how governments, multilateral organisations, and businesses interact across Indonesia, ASEAN, and global platforms.
